JOINT EFFORT REHABILITATION

We have created this web site not only for our patients, but also for members of the general public looking for more information about physiotherapy.  We will try to provide updated information, news and links to related sites.

At Joint Effort Rehabilitation we are committed to helping you with your rehabilitation throughout your recovery period.  This means that we will work with you as soon as possible after you are hurt and we will come to your home if you cannot come to us.  We will treat you in the early stages and work with you until you have reached your potential.  In the later stages we can meet with you at your work place to help you implement the strategies we have practiced in the clinic.

What does physiotherapy cost?

We consider many factors when determining the cost of a treatment. This includes the time spent with a patient, the time required to write reports or the time spent traveling to a patient's home or place of employment. The Ontario Physiotherapy Association has suggested a fee of $37.50 for every 15 minutes spent with a patient. This translates to an hourly fee of $150.00. We have decided not to charge this in order to keep physiotherapy affordable for anyone who needs treatment. As a rule this means that most initial assessments costs $90 and most treatments cost $55.

It is important to us that everyone who needs physiotherapy has access to it. We can work with you to set up a payment plan that is suitable for you.
